The Road to Success
“Nobody is too busy, it’s just a matter of priorities”, are the words of an ordinary student of Carmelo de los Cientos, St. National Trade School student who by sheer diligence to study and develop his skill propelled him to work in a foreign land where he says he “found great opportunity in that place”. His priorities are important to him allowing him to see clearly his goal and achieve it.
Meljon Bacus Delima 21, currently working at Coffee and Cake Zulekha Hopitals in United Arab Emirates (UAE) for Two (2) years already. He finished his Hotel and Restaurant Services (HRS) here at CCNTS last 2014. Before he work aboard, Meljon had his stint as a Kitchen Staff at Avenue Hotel where his duties includes cleaning and preparing the kitchen, ensuring health and safety is implemented, checking and storing delivery of stocks, also participated in the training to promote the general well being of the services rendered in the hotel.
As a waiter in Rhodings Catering Services, Meljon developed an attitude of industry and service to the clientele he served. His being a team player in the catering services allow him to grow in his chosen profession, attributes that made him enjoy the job and the company of people he is with.
The road we travelled might be long and winding, but one thing is for sure, that if we persist this road will lead us to success. Our wish for your more success Meljon. – CCNTS.
