TESDA-Compostela Valley Awards Starter Tool Kits at Three (3) Different Barangays in Montevista
TESDA-Compostela Valley released a total of seventy-two (72) starter tool kits to three (3) different barangays of Montevista, Compostela Valley Province under Special Skills Training Program (SSTP) on April 05, 2019. Brgy. Camansi, Montevista awarded with twenty- five (25) starter tool kits who completed their skills training on Plaster Concrete/Masonry Surface (leading to Masonry NC II) which was conducted by ACIW-Training and Assessment Center, Inc..
Another twenty-five (25) scholars from Bgry. Dauman were also completed Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) NC I which was conducted by Assumption College of Nabunturan, Inc. Twenty-two (22) scholars from Brgy. Linoan, Montevista who took Carpentry NC II under ACIW-Training and Assessment Center, Inc. as their training provider.
The releasing of toolkit activity was headed by TESDA ComVal Personnel in partnership with Indigenous People Mandatory Representative (IPMR) Secretary, Ms. Lorgena B. Polinar.
The different Datu’s from the different Barangays namely; Datu Allan Pepito of Brgy. Camansi, Datu Ismael Nguho of Brgy. Dauman and Datu Primo Ejera of Brgy. Linoan, were also present and proactive.
SSTP is a TESDA Scholarship program which provides free skills training with entrepreneurship, free assessment fee, allowance of 100 per day, and free starter tool kits to the grantees.
