New Bataan Welding Trainees Receive Starter Toolkits
Tesda-Compostela Valley awards Welding machines to twenty-four (24) completers of Shielded Metal Arc Welding NC I at Tribal Hall, Brgy. Cabinuangan, New Bataan, Compostela Valley on April 17, 2019.
This training were conducted by Assumption College of Nabunturan, Inc. last August 27, 2018 to September 22, 2018, under Special Skills Training Program (SSTP).
SSTP is one of the scholarship programs of TESDA in coordination with the Indigenous People Mandatory Representative (IPMR), who strengthened the coordination of the said program.
The grantees of this program were benefited with free skills training, free assessment fee, free starter toolkits and allowance of one hundred pesos (100) per day.
The said skills training were participated by the Mandaya Indigenous People (IPs) of Brgy. Cabinuangan, New Bataan, Compostela Valley and completed the said program.
The distribution of starter tool kits were participated by the one of the TESDA-Compostela Valley team and a representative from Indigenous People, Ms. Lindaan.
