Forty-three Beneficiaries from Mawab Receive Welding Machines
Tesda-Compostela Valley awards forty-three (43) toolkits on the graduation program at Gymnasium. Brgy. Nuevo Iloco, Mawab, Compostela Valley Province on April 16, 2019 who completed skills training in Shielded Metal Arc Welding NC I.
Eighteen (18) scholars from Brgy. Nueva Visayas and twenty five (25) from Brgy. Andili, Compostela Valley completed the skills training on Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) NC I. These programs were conducted by the Assumption College of Nabunturan (ACN), Inc.
Ms. Lovella Mae C. Lagura, TESDS II of TESDA ComVal conferred the forty three (43) graduates. Mawab CTEC Bob Mirasol in his speech, emphasized his gladness of the convergence program and requested the graduates not to sell their respective toolkits but rather use it to earn a living as a self-employed, trained and certified scholar. The program was also attended by ACN Assessment Center Manager Analou C. Buñag.
The skills training programs were conducted on August 2-26, 2018 at the Brgy. Gym of Nueva Visayas and July 12, 2018 – August 23, 2018 at Brgy. Andili, Mawab, Comval where most of the identified scholars reside.
This was made possible through the partnership and collaboration of TESDA with the Indigenous People Mandatory Representative (IPMR) coordinator, National Commission on Indigenous People (NCIP) and the local government unit of Mawab.
